NYCB is a romantic comedy about a black, city slick executive who is also a jazz musician living in New York. He's set to marry a beautiful black fashion model when he receives news that his company is temporarily relocating him to the deep south to open an office. He's forced to hire a group of eccentric locals to complete the job and quickly becomes a fish out of water.

 

Meanwhile, a lovely white southern bell helps him through his comedic struggles to assimilate and battle a shrewd business rival dedicated to his destruction. Misinterpreting the situation, his fiancée overhears him singing their favorite song to the southern bell. She decides to make a surprise visit adding more comedy to his struggles.
